Selfish Self-importance In Isolated Road-rage

I drive all across this town –

off-road,

high-speed,

hands-free,

steering with my knees

- ‘cause in the cavities

of my thoughts

I’m illustrating a car crash.

My body incinerated

in a maw of charred mental arms

holding me in the palm

of catastrophic flaws –

the mouth that never loved

enough. Keep talking;

there is more

then they could ever write in the report.

My body, kept talking,

through teeth in the cup holders,

hair threading the vents,

nails denting the dash.

-

It was an accident.

-

Who will bury me

in 41 pieces,

each deserves one engraved

stone, growing mold

over suicide-note poetry-

_______“Dear You:

_______There was more to me

_______Then anyone could ever see.”

Fish-tailing off cliffs

to gain sincerity.
